Difficulty levels messin with my feelings.

Seriously, I could not get any farther then taking the first region from Ito with Shimazu on Hard. I tried 4 times but could not build a big enough army to take the region and hold it becasue the Ito keep sending armies at it. Anway, when I tried on my 5th attmept suddendly there is absolutely NO resistance from the Ito. I even thought that I accidentally put the difficulty on normal or something. But I checked and its on hard. I was soo frustrated and was determined to beat it on hard. But now I just blew right through Ito. I have no idea what the hell happened?

look around, they probably attacked someone else or tried and failed to ambush you, leaving their castles open. From what I've gathered, the AI is supposed to leave it's gates unbarred and unguarded. Makes my favorite tactic to attack with just Kishu ninja and a general and let the ninja butcher the samurai retainer garrison. Fun times.
