A lot of you may already know this, but I just worked it out myself, so thought I'd share in case it's of use to anybody else also...
If you want to recover the replay of a game that dropped (e.g. when you played a good battle but your opponent rage quits on you), do the following;
* save replay at first opportunity - this will save the last complete game under the save name you enter i.e. the battle before the one that dropped.
* go to your replays folder and find a file named "auto"... NOT "auto-replay" but named just "auto"... this is the save of the dropped game.
* to keep the replay for future reference, simply rename that file.
A bit of shameless product placement here, but I was able to make this replay video by following the steps above... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AP6DXSBnqU
