    Default Shogun 2 Cinematic Editor

Any chance we'll see a tool like the Cinematic Editor that came with Medieval 2 release for Shogun 2? It was really badass and I'd love to be able to export my replays with interesting camera angles and no UI rendered perfectly smooth with the highest settings.

Really doubt it, you can remain hopeful though

There is some kind of cinematic camera in the game somewhere because I've seen some amazing footage fans have made of the game that makes it look like a hollywood movie and not a game at all and I can't replicate it with the standard camera views.

If you find out how to activate it please come back and tell me.

    It's time for honesty :-
CA it's time for change, Warscape is fundamentally flawed because it's based on old (bugged) code please retire it and give us a brand new game engine from scratch, until you do this every Total War game is doomed to be bugged before it's even released.

Are you talking about pressing N to do the camera zoom?

FRAPS and Windows Movie Editor allow full editing and recording of Shogun 2 movies.

No, no, that's not what I'm talking about. Medieval 2 had this cinematic editor that would allow you to load up a replay and set up a bunch of different camera angles and motions, beyond what was possible in the game. Then you could render the whole thing out with the maximum video settings and it would go frame by frame so it would be 100% smooth. It's the tool that they used to cut the trailers for the game and they just let us get our hands on it, which was cool. Here's an example of what was possible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs5aDpjq0nM

Perhaps the best example here would be this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIoSYqH9ACc
It would be very nice if the developers have done a similar editor.
Really can make a bunch of beautiful vidio, compared with which Hollywood nervously smoking in aside)
And here's another example of working with this editor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4JnS...eature=related
