I want to know how I go about playing ETW offline. Everytime I try to launch the game from my desktop icon the game tries to launch via Steam. I just want to be able to play my game without going online like I could with the other Total War games. Is that so much to ask!?

You have to log into Steam and set it in offline mode there.

Okay thanks. I put Steam into offline mode but now when I try to play the game I get a message saying "This game is not ready to be played in offline mode" WTF?

That's Steam. Ask them. Itmaybe buried in there DRM someplace.

You cant play MP battles in Offline mode though...just in case you were trying that.
