    Question napoleon vs empire

    what is the diffrence between napoleon and empire?

    The battles are similiar in that everyone is armed with a musket. Everything else is slightly different. Which one do you currently own? It'll make drawing up a comparison easier.

    Empire is during 18th century and Napoleon in the late 18th and early 19th, which means during the Napoleonic wars.

    The difference in scope is worth mentioning though. Empire encompasses three theatres streching from the Americas, Europe to India and has dedicated trade theatres on top of that. Napoleon has a European focus apart from one of the Napoleon story campaigns which takes place in Egypt (but Egpyt can't be reached when playing a grand campaign).

    That being said, Napoleon is more polished, generally runs better and has drop-in battles. If you enjoy either one, you'll probably enjoy both.

    oh okay what about the map differences i heard napoleon is like empire but with better maps and graphics?

    empire has a much larger scope with 12 playable factions to napoleons 5, which is why i like empire a bit better, but napoleon is more polished in general
