Default News from Canard PC n°270 (French magazine)

The article is quite similar to the PC Gamer one.
    The new part is :

    - the tactical map will allow to give orders to troops (yes it has changed).
    - when you switch on the tactical map, the time slows down.
    - the press should be able to test a live version of the game at the E3 2013.
    - there will be at least 3 capture points in the cities.
    - siege and ambush machines will have to be construct on the campaign map before battle (like battering rams in RTW) and there will be more variety than before.
    - Cities will not be at 1:1 scale but they will be huge. Lutetia and Lugdunum could be modelized.
    - Minimal requirements will be the same as Shogun 2 but high requirements will be higher.
    - the number of developer on the AI part has been increased.
    - It seems that we will be able to delegate some command to an AI general on the field and give him order like "hold this area".

Sounds awesome! What did shogun 2 look like on minimum spec by the way?

Game is ok at its minimum but medium/high is of course far better.
The main problem with low requirements is the small number of soldiers which could lead to shorter battles.

    (Sorry for misunderstanding)

    Thanks for the info!
I remember hearing in the first battle preview that they wanted to only use the strategic map to look at your units. But they explicitly said that you will not be able to control units from the strat. map...So, I wonder if this has changed? or did you possibly read it wrong?

All of this sounds great. I am a bit curious though, what do you think they mean when they say "ambush machines"? Also, I like the idea of offering commands to allied generals. However, I hope that for the most part they take full command of their armies.

Ambush machine isn't really an official term. The example given is the fire boulder in the Teutoburg battle.
