Default No darthmod for rome 2.

Hello everyone. Recently when pepole fight over problems most say darthmod fill fix it. sadly it wont. While downloading darthmod for rome total war i saw a thread from darth. he said he is retiring from making mods to total war. Instead he has started his own game Ultimate general:Gettysburg. So maybe another mod will. But i though i will just make this clear for anyone hyping for darthmod to rome 2 or everyone saying it will fix it. Heres the thread. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...rement-message

I am so tired of reading "Darthmod will fix it! HURR DURR!" It's good that he doesn't get his hands on Rome II for a change.
It's gotta be a Chocolate Jesus to keep me satisfied.

Yeah. Then pepole might give the original game a chance.

The reason was because he was not by Creative assembly modding poll or something.

I never really understood why DathVader got all the praise for those mods. If you read the info there were always a whole bunch of people involved in the creation. in fact most of the really nice unit modding etc. was done by others.

Nah, maybe R2 is for hard for him to script/code? Thus he retired?

Nope. Creative assembly did not invite him or something wich greatly dissepointed him. So he retired.

He said this There will be some support for older games, if needed, as all my mods are complete now but there will be not a new DarthMod for new Total War games and of course not for the upcoming RTW2. I believe this is what CA also wanted for years, so I think they are happy now.

I am one of the biggest fans of Total War games, I do not think someone can deny this, but as CA continued to devalue my efforts to improve their games, I would be a fool to "insist". Now this was just to inform anyone that was a fan of the darthmod project.
