Can't Recruit Units

I can't recruit units in several of my towns, even though they have military buildings and generals stationed.

For example, I'm playing Romans (Junia family) and have generals in Brundisium (with Manipular Barracks) and Patavium (with Field of Mars). The recruitment of Velites, Legionari, Equites should be enabled. However, the Recruit Unit button is locked.

Any chance you have your army in a stance that doesn't allow recruitment, like forced march?

As stated above your army might be in forced march stance. It may also be full with 20 units in it. Also note that recruitment doesn't happen in towns so if you're clicked on your town you will not be able to recruit. Instead click on the general.

gundad, you are absolutely right. My generals were in forced march stance. Once I set the stance to none, I can recruit normally. Thanks!

As Seljuks, I cannot recruit Ghulam Units after some turns, What is the reason of it? Do you know about it?
