Sounds good. I'm eager for patch 14. Though I wonder what this is about:
Cavalry can now break away from infantry more easily in all battles.

I hope it doesn't make the pull-through problem worse.

So now rhompaia units are strong offense against everything while peltasts will be the main battle line for odryssian kingdoms? Sounds interesting, although I kinda want to see the stats to know whether or not this would be a feasable tactic

Appreciate all the work guys! Thanks!

Can't say I'm pleased about the armored elephant cost change though.. they're risky enough as it is

Looks good hope patch 14 will do something about siege AI. But its mostly a hotfix for the bugged released DLC :D

And when are you guys at CA going to make good Fire/Smoke effects and trails those that are in RTW2 now are ugly and not AAA game worthy from SH2 looks better then this.

Apologies, that was a typo and should read:
    • Cavalry can now break away from infantry less easily in all battles.
The patch notes have been changed accordingly.

    Cheers for spotting it.

It had either been a typo or misquoted as this is what the patch notes read now about the cavalry disengagement:

"Cavalry can now break away from infantry less easily in all battles."

EDIT: Never mind, seems we got our answer.

Looks like Shock Cav got even worse. Pull through was a problem, but shock cav is harder to use while just being worse and less versatile than melee cav.

Teste it and I don't have the feeling that cycle charging got more difficult. But pulling through is almost impossible now.

Melee cav is still better in most cases, i can also cycle charge with them while just their impact is not so great, I think shock cav neeeds a little buff, only cataphracts are really worth it.

I don't get it, why make it harder to pull away with cav?

Also, thank god that the Illyrian hoplites got the hoplite wall. They need al the help they can get with that poor roster :/
Not sure why a falx has got a bonus vs large now? Aren't they supposed to be infantry killers?

because of their length and impact, rhomphaia and falx should be quite good against cav. Aswell as odrysian kingdom has no spears, lol!

It should solve the issue of cav being able to move through units unhindered, which was mentioned by a few posters above.

Any chance you can list what these festivals are and what effects they should have?

Is there any way for you guys to make it easier to cycle charge, while stopping anymore pull-throughs? But not making it too easy as to make shock cav too powerful :P
