Gray Blocks plaguing my screen.

Howdy, so since i've gotten the game i've had about half the screen covered up by gray blocks that make everything very difficult to see. From what i've seen the game runs smoothly on max performance, and the figures seem to be doing fine, its just the haze of gray pixels that make the game near unplayable. I have updated all of my drivers (even though on the start screen it still recommends that I do), I have verified the integrity of the cache, I have set my computer to max performance setting, and I have enabled unlimited video memory in the settings.
I have tried just about every combination of resolutions and settings and all have the same gray blocks throughout. At the game title screen the blocks do not exist, only once I enter a battle or the campaign map.

I'm not entirely sure how to post all the specs of my machine, but I would appreciate any help that can be given.

    For me the probelm ended once I had updated my video card drivers, so that really was the problem.So if you get that message u prob really have to update ur drivers.

    I've gone through more times than I can count updating my drivers. ESPECIALLY my video card drivers. I just can't seem to get the message to go away, or fix the problem.

    Did anyone have to pay for their update? I'm going to the Internet since I can't seem to get any results from my device manager.

    I've also gone through the links provided on the forums on updating my driver from the AMD website. But when I download the free update/ device scan, it says that I don't have any AMD products, or that the update doesn't apply to my machine, which is disappointing.

    Still waiting to hear back from someone, other than moving my thread....

    Kind of disappointed his was moved to the Mac forum. I feel like it's a problem that could be resolved regardless of that, and does change the dynamics of the problem.
    All its seems to do is lengthen the response time for fixing the problem.
    An arrow in the right direction to go along with the relocation would've been nice...

    Sorry, but the ancient 4670 has been a 'legacy series card' since 2013 when the last driver update for it was released. (ATI hasn't owned the video card business since 2006, 2 years before the 4xxx series would have been issued, when it sold the line to AMD...).

    I suspect its venerable, but outdated specs would have a hard time running a battle in any event even if it were supported. As I wrote elsewhere, just for the heck of it you can attempt to see if the 2013 driver helps at all but I have serious doubts a two year old driver will be any use at all since many of the modern APIs used in the game wouldn't even have been supported by the architecture of a 2008 card... Sorry! :( ~Al

    This was my final attempt for completely giving up. Thanks for the last bit of advice. :)

    Good to hear it helped (and I am somewhat amazed), but you should be aware how limited a breathing space you have bought yourself. Every update of Windows, DX and applications running new API and instruction standards increases the likelihood that card simply will be out of luck. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get a card that has far gereater capability than the one you have, or that is still being supported by AMD.
