attila quit unexpectedly on macbook pro 13''

everything seemed fine and smooth when i launch the game, actually it started off much faster than it did on my old pc. ok, than i choose my campaign and clicked to start it, things went well, the little video of some background story went quit smooth. but the thing is after that, when i thought the campaign map should show up, it just turn me back to the desktop and said i've encountered an unexpected quit. i reopened the game, everything just went well enough ,but no matter what campaign i choose, it just won't go through that certain point (when the video is over and should let me play it) i've also tried historical battle and custom battle, some of them were able to open and let me play, but some of them just suddenly quit as well. once while i was playing a battle, it quit in the middle of the battle. could it be my the laptop's memory not enough? but i checked on Can You Run It and my laptop reached all the requirements.
my laptop: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, memory:8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3, graphic: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB.
and by the way, i did checked the setting of the game, i set it as maximum performance, which sacrificed the graphic's quality and let the processor focus on the performance( which i thing should prevent the game from crashing or quitting or things like that)
anyone has any idea about this? it's officially said to be able to play on the macs, so i just don't get it.
thanks lots of thanks

Exact same for me also. Been communicating with Sega but absolutely no fix for the past month. I have 13" Macbook Pro also but with i7 and 16GB. Gets to exact same point and crashes every time.

Hope someone tries to rectify this soon but it appears they truly don't care.

It's certainly an issue with the 2015 Macbook Pro. Works fine (bit laggy) on my old Samsung. I've emailed them again and hoping there will be some help offered. Not counting on it though.

is yours the early 2015 model as well? bcz yours is really top equipped in terms of both processor and graphics and should absolutely master the game well. so I think it might be the system of the new models

Yes. I have the new Pro 2015! I waiting for the next patch and hope that it resolve the problem. But I'm very angry because I expected from CA an answer on this problem in this official forum and in the section of Mac Support! Because I don't see this support and I can't play this game on my Mac yet. It would have been enough something like "We know the problem, it is for this reason and we are working on it", instead nothing from CA!!!

Nope... I just tried it again today, i mean totally reinstall... the game's version seems to be a new one. it said "built version 1.3.0" recalling that the old one was 1.0.0 or something. but unfortunately the game crashes at the exactly same point..

well that's what makes me mad too! you know what? i contact their customer service directly like a moth ago... through email. they did reply, and taught me some ways they think would make it work. like reinstall and check local cache sort of things.. but none of these worked, so when i ask them "ok guys, now what?" they just appeared and ignored all me emails. i was like "wtf are they thinking" they just gonna do their job like that?!

Guys, please try the fix in the thread created by Emperor Andreas, and also follow my instructions. Should get your game and DLCs working but you'll have to boot Attila from the file mentioned and not through steam.

Charlotte, please pass the details on to your tech support as they've been useless for the past months.
