Welcome to Total War Battles: KINGDOM Beta Version 0.3!

A lot has changed since Beta Version 0.2, and many of these changes are in direct response to feedback from players such as yourselves. Whether you’re new to the game, or a returning Lord or Lady, we sincerely hope you’ll enjoy this new and improved Total War Battles: KINGDOM experience!

How to redeem your code:

• Launch game
• Go to Shop (click on the Gold pouch icon in the top right corner)
• Click “redeem code”
• Enter code and confirm
• You will see the Gold added to your resource counter at the top.

New features and changes in Total War Battles: KINGDOM Beta Version 0.3

The water management system has been overhauled to make it much more reactive and easier to deal with flooding. If you close off a river from a water source, it will turn into wetlands immediately (except for deep water). Likewise, if you open a dam blocking off water from a river bed, the water will now disperse much quicker. This will allow you more creative control when terraforming, enabling you to design a realm you can truly call your own.

The newly implemented Neighbour Bonus system means that town buildings will get specific bonuses (e.g Unit Attribute increase) from different buildings that neighbour them. A new expandable section has been added to the Building Confirmation UI panel to show Neighbour Bonus info which can help you place buildings to optimise your town to suit your playstyle.

Other notable changes include:

• Timers have been reduced dramatically to promote longer play sessions.
• Quarry gameplay has been redesigned to make finding deposits more of a challenge, with much greater rewards when you do find them.
• The realm layout has been changed making it easier to navigate and making space management more fun, complex and challenging.

Whoa, Dayum.

Exploring Tombs now has a chance to provide between 2 and 5 Gold.
The Daily Tribute now only provides Gold.



No limit on quarry/woodcutter/farm is interesting...Guess those masters are gone. One could fill the map with just one type and trade it in for the others (specifically trading in for wood since that was the hardest to accumulate before). Could be an issue... No idea without testing though.

Yup "Update queued" in "manage downloads" it says "starting" tried to restart steam, and the pc, nothing xd
I think I will delete the game and redownload it? Hmm


Edit: Can't delete the game in steam, the client crashes. Hmmm

Edit2: Deleted the game manually from the drive, then deleted it successfully in steam, now redownloading

Hi All,

It seems that Steam is having a few issues in Europe right now.
It therefore can take multiple tries before the actual download is initiated.

Just give it another go if it does time out on the first try.

I know it's a wiped version for the players, but why it doesn't remember my account? Or is this part of the 'wipe'?

PS: I'm a steamplayer and don't want to register a TW account.

So anyone who purchased gold in the beta gets 20% extra gold, but anyone who buys now gets 30% extra.
SO the former gets 10% less gold, on top of getting lied too about the account wipes?
Is this for real or am i missing something?

@ Lord_Xenon:
If you did register a TW Account in the previous version, you can simply log in to that account again in 0.3, using the same email address and password. The login panel UI should have remembered your email address in that case. Progress will still be reset (including lord name and avatar), but your credentials stay the same.

If you played in 0.2 as an unregistered account, then you will have to start a new game via the "Start Game" button. Which also means creating a new Lord name and avatar.


@ Naje
Everyone who made a Gold purchase since the Kingdom Open Beta started will get that Gold retuned to his balance with additional 20% added on top.
We also did rework the in-game Shop, so that everyone gets 30% extra on his first purchase in 0.3. This has nothing to do with the Gold refund, so no, you are not getting 10% less :-)

ALso they fixed the lowering/raising terrain to get instant grass.
