Hello, so I'm decent at the game but am still at that stage in learning a new game where you're slow cause you're making sure you are doing exactly the right thing.
If people could give some tips that aren't for people new to the game, but would help improve gameplay that would be fabulous ;)

Hi, here are some suggestions that may help. First, you would want to ensure you've optimized your graphics settings and memory allocation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SknN1vPZ8IU This video is old, however, it demonstrates how to allocate memory. Second, unlock the developers camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUjzfyEOTVU This will allow you to zoom out and monitor your flanks and rear. In addition, it enhances your ability to micro on two fronts. Start practicing in campaign mode with the WASD keys, get comfortable with moving the camera around from the keyboard. Go to Youtube and watch this channel called TWReplays- https://www.youtube.com/user/TWReplays JMartin goes through a lot basics that I think will greatly benefit you. I recommend starting with how to arrange your unit cards in the HUD. I find this valuable because it organizes your units, and this translates to better unit management during the battle. Lastly, a veteran player once said Napoleon is a game of positioning. And that statement is so true, and cannot be summed up in fewer words. Good luck and I'll see you on the battlefield.
