SolvedHelp! I can do nothing in Multiplayer

I just bought the game two days ago and I cannot do anything in multiplayer whether its a battle or campaign. I cannot join due to the fact I get an unspecified error. I understand the different versions but unspecified error? I have a buddy who will host a lobby both of us have all mods off yet unspecified error, same thing when I host and he tries to join me. We have the same version/build. I have a feeling its on my end cause when he hosts a game without a password occasionally people will join his but I have never been able to get into anything multiplayer nor has anyone joined my game. I can't even spectate. I have verified the cache, restarted both steam and my computer numerous times and my firewall is not blocking it.

This happens to me once out of every 5 or 6 quick battles. I always figued it had to do with to much latency between me and the host so it times out trying to join. Hows your internet connection?

Please can you post copies of both of your DxDiags and modified.log files to a comment for me and we can take a look. There might be something hidden in the details

I appreciate it but I got it figured out. I reset my windows firewall or reset all defaults and the same with my router. once i did this and applied new rules to my network I am now able to log in and everything works. Thank you for your time

Which rules did u applied to your network? I have the same problema I can't play online, any single time since the day 1 the game was released.

I get an unspecified error too, so can u tell me exactly what you did pls?
