Hi People of the Furom and the Great team in CA who created this Amazing game!
I've played and gone through the game and went through the mods and had a Hell of a time! best TW to date and amazing gameplay. its so great i just want more stuff like right now!
- i was wondering if anyone knows that if kislev and border princes (plus the other minor factions) will have their own specific units because to my little knowledge they are kind of different than the empire forces.
- Also i was wondering if the Blood Pack will be out soon
- And when can we expect Wood Elves?
If there is a schedule of DLC releases or at least approximates please share if possible
If anyone thinks that there should be some more important things in the coming DLC/FDLC i didnt mention please share
+ im adding this so it would show on the first page instead of the second
A fun fact that will hype you all to actually start the game and see it for yourselves is. If u go into the campain map and go to the far left of the world past the great see and hover your mouse over it for a bit... you'll see something that will get you too exited for your own good. its like a tease of the worst kind.
(keep your mouse over the map area until the terrain description reveals itself)
"Heaven forbid that under the Vail of military training we should subject our young men to the lust of our general" - Hanno to the Carthaginian senate on the future of Hannibal.

There is a Blog on future content, don't have the link here, that gives the rough forms that paid DLC will take and the initial plans for what free content will appear, but no dates for either.

Well get a vampire unit soon probably with the first patch maybe later... then there will be legendary lord packs most likely in addition to some other news. Bretoonia will be added fully in campaign I have no doubts they are popular and now in mp aswell. As for Wood Elves and Beast men they will come i suspect with a campaign pack think of attila and romes smaller campaigns focused. I have little doubt both factions will be added in the grandcampaign aswell and at the same time.
As for kieslev and minor factions additional units hard to say really. The thing is some of the special units have to table top representative and some are only described. Will they go around to make all these special units for unplayable factions? I dont think that will be the case. They do however have voice work that identify them, Kieslev speaks about their ice queen and so on in game. They also have their unique traits like being very passive and super strong in the defence especially their capitol.
I wouldnt expect that expect instead the first stuff I numbered, new ll a new vampire unit, new factions, and some time the blood pack I just hope it counts for all three games. Also check the time table already out and wait for CA to talk about it.
tomorrow. just check their social media and you'll find any information and ca confirmed it there.
really? which? I haven't seen anything on twitter or face book (except stream schedule) and reddit it's hard to tell whats going on.

So CA themselves wont say anything or at least talk to us? i'm new to posting these stuff... never done this before but Warhammer needs to be talked about! other than that CA doesn't answer or wont answer my thread?
I was hoping the post would reach someone from CA and he would be a nice gentle lady or gentleman (gentle lady preferred) and would give me all the answer to my questions. maybe even release blood pack for free!
At least give me a date so i can see the "soon" on a calendar

Since you are new to this I'll give you some insight...this type of thread pops up almost once a day. In the past there has been some controversy surrounding DLC. Releasing project time lines to none stake holders is rarely a good thing as it sets up expectations that can trigger animosity if holdups push back deployment. All of that means they can't really respond to your individual question...have patience. Something will be out soon and you'll find out about it with the rest of us.
CA best release something in the short term, even if its just news. The appetite of this fanbase for the DLC is out of control and off the charts now.
For sure! Gourmet demons crave Blood and Gore! I want to see rivers of blood and shiny knights torn apart. In fact, monstrous units and such are a great playground for blood fountains! Paint me world red, bebe.

Well speaking for myself. I won't buy any dlc until blood n gore. I just cannot get into the battles without it. It's just to damn PG...
Truth you are my brethren. No battle should lead to grass spoiled by boots but no blood. May the digital pixie open the throat of our enemies. Roses are red and drowned folk look blue.
Reckon first DLC will be announced this week (Tomorrow or Thurs.) and will arrive next week. It will probably be a Lord Pack. The first FLC (At least.) and the first patch will probably also arrive at the same time. Or they could be nice by releasing it immediately or almost immediately, in which case it will arrive this week.
Everyone is so hyped about these DLC's, but how about a patch that fixes the current issues (such as the Raise Dead issue for example)?
Different teams deal with patches than new content...
Surely one is connected with the other? You cannot patch an issue, whilst building your new content with the issue?
It's also not relevant to know whether or not it's a different team altogether. There may be 2 teams working on new content or a 100 different ones. Regardless of that new content, fixing bugs and issues should still be one of the main concerns and focus points.
Or is it entirely acceptable to look into bugs and errors a year into the release (exaggerated, of course..), because "different teams were working on different things".
If they want to assign different teams to different projects, that's fine with me. If "different teams" are working on "new content", that's fine for me. I do not see why this should stop or withhold any fixes and patches to be released before this new content is brought up.
Building a house on a bad foundation, is bound to have it crumble to dust.
The 'raise dead' is a core feature of one of the main races that were released. Mind you, we don't have that many official playable races. Having one bugged as such that your counter stays at 0 and thus you cannot make use of that exact feature that distinct that one race from another is in my book a priority fix - along with other game-breaking issues.
Yes, game-breaking. Because you cannot play the game as the VC (or any other vampire faction for that matter) in a proper way.
There hasn't been really that much information/announcements about it (or any other such issue). How about some feedback instead? Not asking for a patch tomorrow, but some feedback would be nice. All I've heard about it is "it's been passed on". How far are they? What more info do they need? Are they actually looking into it? Do they need a video? Screenshots? Game files? Is it only for a few people? How come? .. something?
Sorry for asking - I just wanted to play the race I bought the game for. I'm not even talking about balance or any other mod-able stuff. I'm not that narrow-minded to decline and refuse to install any mods, but for this issue.. there is no mod, for as far as I am aware of. I can balance with mods, I can colour and change the race with a mod. I can change the flavour of lords and mounts with mods.. I can change graphics, and other stuff with mods.
I cannot fix the raise dead issue with mods. A patch is needed.
Tyvm.
Yes, I like the Empire to play with, too. But there's only so many times i can do a campaign with those before wanting a new flavour into my game.
If you want to go with the image of building a house, then consider this: you don't ask the mason to make heating system, no matter how big the problem with that is.
Back to the game: you can create models for units, without intervene with "system" problems. For example: CA can create 100s of new units and they will not effect the autoresolve problem one way or another. Nor will the people who model units be any help to resolve that problem.

Connected but work on one largely does not affect another, much of the content team is artist and similar, no matter how much you want a bug fixed much of the content team is not helpful in patch fixing, and largely any fix for existing issues will also cover their work without much issue, and if not it would likely need its own fix anyway.
Patching IS a main concern and focus, but its also a very difficult process to predict, one symptom can be caused by many different issues, and a fix can produce more problems than they fix. To many fixes going in at once can compound matters, as things can interact, a sort of too many cooks issue...
