right now warhemmer does not open despite the fact that i have played recently

How long ago is recently?

Try updating your Nvidia driver.

If that does not work, could you post a copy of your modified.log, and preferences.script. https://forums.totalwar.com/categories/support-area tells you how to find them.

here you have both files, however all my software is updated. Becasuse i am playing in a laptop i have put my nvidia card to run everything.

Then the Nvidia card should have found this driver from June 2016 http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/104050/en-uk instead of the one from last July that shows in your Dxdiag. Does it auto-check, or only when you ask it?

Anyway, try copying the attached into your preferences.script, then launch the game. If it works, you'll need to reset your graphics options to recommended then save and exit to Windows. Then try launching again.

thank you a lot Billy, it finally works, i have copied the script and everything looks fine. Seems like the script was corrupted. i will try helping in the forum and i appreciate all the help.
