SolvedGame freezes upon clicking "Custom Battle" (Beastmen DLC)

Every time I click on custom battle the game freezes. I can still hear the music and move the mouse but cannot interact with anything. The game makes the noise to indicate the button has been clicked (custom battle) but the page doesn't change and then the game freezes. To get out of this i have to restart my computer.

Everything else works fine.

I'm on windows 10, latest Nvidea driver, gtx 970, i7 4790k.

Grace_CA said to include a copy of my warhammer folder from %appdata%\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer. Mine is to large to upload as an attachment. So ill just upload my crash report folder, although i think the crash reports there are from different crashes a long time ago (game didn't actually crash this time, just froze and i had to restart).

Yes, those crash reports are from some different crashes. What is needed is not the whole Appdata folder, just the modified.log and the preferences.script, both of which should upload easily. That said, more info from that folder may be required depending on what's in the first two files.

Actually, could you try zipping the Appdata folder anyway.

I am having this exact same issue. I removed all mods and it still freezes when I click on custom game. I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall the entire thing to see if that works. I hope a resolution can be found soon. This issue didn't exist until I downloaded the DLC

Could you please use the FAQ below as a guide and delete only your battle preferences folder:

This is the file path: %appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer\battle_preferences

we did fix it - deleted the battle preferences folder and rebooted the game - worked like magic
