NTW Harcrashing my system??

Hey guys, NTW player here

So I recently got NTW, yep great game and amazing graphics for a pretty old engine.

I mean I've already read about 7 discussions about this issue (9 if you include the horribly made ones)

So basically NTW will make my entire system pull a restart at some point if I press the "End turn" button on what I like to call the "map screen" (Im unaware of its proper name) and it has about a 20-30% chance of hardcrashing my system into a restart, which can be annoying, but it will rarely or never hardcrash in 'battle mode" (where you assemble your troops to tactically eliminate the enemy)

I have updated graphics drivers, changed preferrences.script and even asked so many NTW players how to fix this

My simple answer from many NTW players was "its poorly optimized and crashes a lot" and thats actually appauling, I mean about 90% of the people who claim the easy fix is "oh delete the pref.script file it fixes it 100%" which is false, it doesnt fix the problem

If anybody has a solution to this godawful mess of a poorly optimized but great looking game, please tell me.

I just wanted to tell anybody having the same issue that I HAVE FIXED IT COMPLETELY!!

NOTE: THIS IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE AND CAN EASILY BE FIXED WITHOUT DOWNLOADING VIRUS RIDDEN FILES FROM THE INTERNET ETC, THIS ISSUE CAN EASILY BE FIXED BY A FEW CLICKS IN YOUR CONTROL PANEL
Alright, so this actually really got me for a long time, this SIMPLE windows software issue was fixed within literally 5 seconds and Im actually so glad that its fixed

Anyway (for windows) get into your control panel, now click the green text "hardware and sound" [see photo one]

Now click on the green text that says "Power options" [see photo two] and you should see this [see photo three]

Now heres where it might get a tad bit advanced, click on the small blue text "Change plan settings" just right of the black bold text, and it should take you to the "edit plan settings" menu [see photo four]

Now click the small Blue text saying "Change advanced power settings" and it should come up with a smallish menu
[photo four should show what is there]

Now this menu here [see photo five] should show all this stuff, you see that 20 or any other number there? Backspace all of that and type into that little bar there "never" and then click apply and restart your computer

This problem really got me but Im surprised it actually worked, I had to get a friend to help me with it and this was the solution to it

I really hope this fixes it for anybody else having this issue, I know how annoying it is but this so far is the only solution, and no it does NOT sacrifice anything like graphics or your RAM etc (from what Ive seen) so do try this solution if you're having this problem.
