In lore they only exist in that forrest so good chance they'll only pop up in Athel Loren I'm hoping their early tier units are good enough to let them survive and grow.
They will be against Bretonnian and Empire spears and skirmishers, weak Beastmen and possibly Dwarfs or Greenskins.
My guess Wood Elves will use Glade Guard and Bows as their starting troops which should let them beat early Bretonnian, Empire and Beastmen troops easy enough Dwarfs with their heavy armour and good skirmishers could be a problem especially with Clan Angrund etherial heros right beside them unless the AI builds armies of miners then the Elves will be fine
Well, Glade Guard unless I am mistaken do have AP arrows but personally I hope CA takes that away from them as that would be a bit OP frankly. Deepwood scouts and Waywatchers should be AP though. Eternal guard are a bit of an oddity as they can in theory be a bit simmilar to current Empire Spearmen with Shields and or Swordsmen in terms of quality or more like Halberdiers. Personally I hope CA represents them as a Halberdier quality tier 2 unit, with Dryads being the more basic infantry at tier 1.
Formerly known as Krunch, in case you wonder where he went.
