User Info RequiredGame returns to main menu after starting a new campaing

I just bought Realm of the wood elves and now i cant start any campaing without my game returning to the main menu. What should i do?

I have the same problem, but I just purchased the Beastmen DLC.
The Eye for an eye mini campaign works fine.
But can't start any of the races Grand Campaign after I got the DLC.

And for some reason I can't click the button to add a file (actually none of the buttons above the text box work), just nothing happens...

Could post the files now. Hope this will lead to fix.
I bought DLC and the game becomes unplayable... not fun.

Try this:-

First unsubscribe from all mods then manually delete any remnants in the data folder.

Then try going to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer and rename the following folders:

advice_history
army_setups
battle_preferences
fx_cache
ui_cache
Scripts

Then go to your main Steam folder and delete Client Registry.Blob if you have it. After that, re-start Steam and verify your game cache before trying the game.
If you do not have ClientRegistry.Blob try method 2 here http://www.wikihow.com/Restart-Steam then verify the game cache.

Rename the folders to anything?

Yes, it's just a way of making sure you do not lose any info if you need to switch back. I usually suggest Scriptsold, for an example.

You're welcome. You can delete the renamed files now.

Edit: If you reload your mods you may find an issue with the intro artwork one. That seems to have caused problems for some people.

So the season of revelation dlc just sends me back and back and back to the main menu...

I haven't read any ACTUAL fixes. And most people seem to just have resigned to it.

HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE??? Come on man, I spent $20 on something that makes my game worse. And you have no fixes to this and it's been happening for a year!?!?
