Rome II on Mac crash on startup - removed from App Store

Hi everyone,
I just installed Rome II on my new iMac, happy to be able to play it now since my old Mac was too slow.
But when I start it, it shows the Rome II logo and then crashes to the desktop. I also noticed, that Total War: Rome II was removed from the Apple App Store completely.
(I tried to switch language, but that did not help) - Suprise: Rome II did run on my old Mac about one year ago. Now it shows the exact same behaviour as on my new Mac. (Sturtup logo and crash to desktop.)
According to the error log, there is a problem with the OpenGL drivers. It always crashed on the thread with OpenGL trying to load something.
Any ideas? Is Rome II not running on the latest Mac OS versions?
Best regards!
