+ 38 Bonus vs Large
Reduced Calibration Area (more accurate)

Dwarf Bolt Thrower
+ 24 Bonus vs Large


That's very conservative given that the game hasn't been patched for months. Perhaps the minor Crypt Horror nerf will have a positive effect.

Duck also posted in the thread with these changes:


"Characters:

Archaon: Added Frenzy, +10 Physical Resistance.
Sigvald: +5 defence, +5 morale.
Prophetess: -150 cost.
Fay Enchantress: +150 cost.
Wyvern mounts: added poison attacks.

Abilities:

Earth Blood & Upgraded: Halved duration to 7 and 14, reduced casting cost to 6 and 11 respectively
Raise Dead & Upgraded: Increased cooldown to 19.
Reikland Runefang: Re-designed to be an AoE attack and leadership buff.
Icon of Devotion: Leadership increase reduced to +12.
Mist of the Lady: Added an 'engaged in melee' condition flag.
Wrath of Manann: Should deal more damage to targets as we adjusted detonation forces.

Also not my work, but direct damage spells have been rebalanced according to certain damage templates, particularly affecting Final Transmutation that was dealing half the damage it should be. "

Grimgor Ironhide: +5 charge bonus, increased health by +5%
Sigvald: also increased health by +4%

Abilities:
Cloak of Isha: Added small healing effect.

MP Ability attachments:
Azhag: replaced Spider Banner with Scrolls

one more:
"Oh, one more change that I forgot to mention. Balthasar Gelt also got buffed to 25% magic and 25% missile resistance."

    Edit: Nevermind, the "patch notes" are the two sentences at the end of the campaign changes. Damn thats a bummer.

    Any change on Raise dead and other magic? Is the really the whole balance patch note? For real?

    I find it stupid to give Minotaur with GW, who can trade evenly with demis, a cost reduction while totally forgetting dragon ogres.

    Is that all? I had high hopes for the patch especially concerning WoC and as far as these notes look they will stay as they are and Archaon will stay the Neverchosen as before.

    There are more changes I have seen on youtube/ninjahund twitch that don't appear in this list. Ninja said some days ago that Earth Blood has been nerfed.

    Here are the small changes I added before going on holiday, which you won't find in the patch notes as I never got around to forwarding them:

    Characters:

    There is an arguement to be made for being conservative at the end of a game's product lifecycle. This is probably the last patch TW1 is going to get (except for possible a post-Norsca patch), so they wouldn't want to change too much and risk an unintended balance upset. I would have liked to have seen more.

    why the wom cost decrease though..??

    and frenzy for archaon is not what we wanted and isn't thematic

    If wyvern mounts now gives poison attacks (which I like, by the way), is there an update to Azhag's spider banner or is it becoming a useless item?
