Get your spanners out! The Total War: WARHAMMER II Steam Workshop is now available and with it comes the Total War: WARHAMMER II - Assembly kit. Be sure to keep an eye out for all the amazing creations our community can cook up over the next few weeks and beyond.

To install the mod tools for yourself:

- Open Steam 

- Go to LIBRARY 

- Select 'Tools' from the Drop-down 

- Search for 'Warhammer II Assembly Kit' 

- Install the software

I can't seem to upload my mods to workshop. It doesn't appear in my workshop files and I can't edit or anything.

Wow, they amount of mods to remove any challenge in the game is staggering.

Though, I do see a few that increases the difficulty as well.

Checked Terry map editor I applaud for new Skyboxes and Environments for Old World Races, especially new Vamp night sky and Empire dark clouds.

But Moon is missing

Also cool new thing is you can make snow maps, Just choose any Vista, Environment -> Dark Elves North/ Snowy

You can turn any map into Winter, fantastic plus all objects are covered in snow, like Empire Buildings or Castles of Vamps.

Too bad 90% of these are cheat mods. It makes looking for quality mods a hassle sifting through all this garbage. I wish there were some sort of standard of quality that had to be met so not just any scrub could upload their nonsense.

i can't upload my mods. i did have one item in my workshop for game 2 that i had uploaded day 2 just to see what would happen and it said something about the item not existing. well, just checked and it did exist but that item got banned because it violated steam terms of service. um lol how? it was never even available to the public because i uploaded it before the steam workshop was even up. so i deleted the item.

trying to upload a mod now and it goes thro the process - accept these terms, what kind of mod is this? and then says it uploads, but still has the upload button afterwards and i can't find it in my workshop. cool

at least the mod workshop is up. and there's plenty of high quality mods up already. just browse by most popular and ignore the cheaty sounding ones. cheat mods usually don't become hugely popular so they almost never make the most popular lists. certainly not for most popular for a week - but the workshop hasn't been up a week yet.

Can someone PLEASE make a mod so that the buildings on the campaign correspond to the race who controls it, so basically if i'm high elves conquering dark elves settlements then i shouldn't be still seeing dark elves buildings and the dark and gritty landscape that matched their dark culture. It should be like warhammer 1 where as i conquer and colonize these lands they transform to the corresponding culture that controls it
