Video/Audio Stuttering

Hey guys - been goggling for days cannot find a fix.

Recently - when I start the game the video and audio stutters (low fps) in the intro scene, main menu interaction and whenever I pull up in game help guide such as the spell guide. It drops to like 2-5 FPS.

I have a high end PC (dual titan X pascal) and I run WH1 and other games max graphics with no problems.

Your advise please!

Also, just to add: warhammer 1 works fine. I also have the latest drivers and update on Windows and game...

I had graphic and sound stuttering, it turned out it was a problem with my dual monitor setup as well as some heat issues

For video stuttering I found a solution for both WHI and II.

Task Manager > Details Tab > Right Click steam.exe and WHII.exe files > set priority to high for both > set affinity and uncheck your last cpu core on both .exe files

This smoothed out the viedo stuttering completely.

Thanks for the tip, I just tried it. Problem still exists.

Update: I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Still problem exists . Any one can help?

Update: I tried turning Firewall and Antivirus temporarily off, still does not work. Guys please help !

Update: I disabled all my monitors except 1 (see capture), now the games plays/loads properly.

But I cannot play like this, I stream the game and I use all my video outputs because I need them.

Is this game only playable on one screen?

Observation: I noticed my settings only detect one pascal titan x. I wonder if that is the problem? I need to play the game with all my monitors enabled .

Repeated results: I am confirming that the issue is reproducible when I enable all the above. video outputs, and the problem is gone with only one monitor. Looking for your guidance, CA..

Are you playing on DX12?
When i do, it only shows 1 1080ti.
On DX11 it uses both gpu's

Update: I read on some forums Geforce Experience causes such issues. I uninstalled it. Issue still exists. Also, I disabled Chrome Hardware Accelerator, also does not seem relative.

Update: I update my video/audio codecs. Still problem exists. help someone..

The video stuttering happens only in battles?

Do you have 3D portraits enabled?

Update: Update 35 Drivers using Driver Booster, all drivers including audio chipset is upto date. GPU temprature is 183 (Fahren height) while in game.

Problem still exists.

Well mate, you have certainly tried everyone. One monitor is the only current work around.

I think that is all you will get from CA for the moment.

Update: I triedd disabling monitor cloning and enabling, still problem exists with both settings. I clone my gaming monitor with the HD60 capture card,

Has anyone encountered the exact same problem in Total War troy?
I have stable FPS ~80
Xeon 2660v3, 32gb RAM, 1060 3gb

But the game has audio stuttering. Especially noticeable in battles.
When music and all the audio just disappears for a millisecond (which is enough to hear it, and ruin the fluid gameplay)
