How come this subforum disappears on occasion?

    Bugs. At first we thought this was self-induced mass mod hysteria when things were disappearing, but it looks like it's affected the general population as well. It should stabilize with more posts I think.

    Interesting that your using prison terms to describe us "the general population"

    I only noticed this forum today and the first time I tried to click on it, I was told that I didn't have the privileges to post here, came back a few hours latter and the forum was gone and then just logged on and seen it again.

    I thought it was a cache problem as I use 3 computers to access the site depending on the time of day. From my minimal experience with web development pressing F5 usually solves such nasty problems (f5 forces the browser to get latest data from the webserver instead of using the cache data stored on the hard disk).

    You have to be logged in to view it. You get logged out after a certain time, and when clicking around, the forum is refreshed so it shows you how the forum looks to you when you are logged out.
