One things that sets them apart though is that DE start way more divided than HE, and will not be unified until they have a common threat against them. I feel the most interesting thing we may expect in a campaign is to meet powerful opponents... of a varied quality. That's why the dawitide is so unnerving, its almost certain presence is boring.

A too much isolationnist Ulthuan would be a Wood elves bis situation, though, we expect them to start intervening outside.

I wonder if a maritime waagh event wouldn't be fun to add, Grom the paunch style ;)

I agree. HE are not WE. But if they send expedition forces that sack/raze without settling, they'll sort of be a "police of the world" without really expanding. And that would make them different from WE.

At least in theory, I don't know if it would work in practice though.

I can give them an aversion to other climates, but I've found in the past it wasn't that effective sometimes, though to be honest the AI was constrained, ie, Vampires take Zhufbar because it's their main opponent after Templehof. GS & dwarf have plenty to fight in their own zone so it's less of an issue.

    - Dwarfs are always destroying the Orcs.
    - Skaven need a buff on the map since they will always lose.
    - Confederations are bugged when a LL of the faction is being confederated while the LL is wounded he / she will not join you and even if they do the traits are not working...
    - Blobs AI
    - AI don't sally forth if the food is running out.
    - WE barely doing a thing in the entire campaign, i understand that they should be passive but this is a bit to passive IMO.
    - Old faction races are missing a lot of mechanics compared to the new races.
    - Same goes for the old LL compared to the new.
    - Ai casting wind & vortex spells are just way off.
    - Ai not protecting the artillery at all
    - Balance between races regarding income
    - Beastman are just a non issue in the campaign.
    - Chaos invasion is just not where it suppose to be, when Archeon appeared in my play trough they where rank 7 and not a treat at all...

Maybe this is a bit much but maybe it helps.
