User Info Requiredbug with new update. Food surplus becomes a food deficit

The new update uploaded and my food surplus of over 300 became an instant food deficit of 390. This causes civil unrest and does not allow me to successfully complete the campaign. Other players are experiencing the same problem. When I hover the cursor over the food area I receive a message that I have a food surplus but the game s hows a deficit.

How do I fix this?

Revert to patch 17 if you're continuing existing gaame and disable that once you're ready to start a new campaign.

Hi Everyone,

For players who are having the food number drop issue could you provide us with save files for when this just occurs or just before the Empire divided update, so we can investigate this issue further.

Hi,

Attached is a saved game with this same bug. It was working properly until last ED update. I've selected the patch_17 option and it works properly with no problem.
Then I went back to the last patch following these instructions https://www.totalwar.com/blog/empire-divided-quick-fixes, but with the same results. I have same problem in Esparta, Anibal and Gaul DLC campaigns, not in the Octavian one.

I have this issue as well. I attached a version that was ok when I saved the file.
Let me know if you want a version with the food issue.

I went from something like +1300 food to minus 900...

patch17 crashes on my system, it is not an option. -326 neither...

Looks for like some all region/faction boni do not exist anymore.

Jesus CA doesn't even understand their own game. This isnt a bug. It's from the change in grain resource buildings: in the new patch the buildings don't offer +1 food per region anymore but rather they offer +1 food prer region IN THAT PROVINCE and in ADJACENT provinces. That's it. No bug. CA y u no answer this right away?
