Any books on Belegar Ironhammer and Clan Angrund?

Clan Angrund is my favourite faction in Mortal Empires and I love going for Karak Eight Peaks and holding it in every campaign.
But i admit I havent read much fluff on the true lord of the eight peaks.

Does anyone know what books Belegar appears in?

Unfortunately, he is the only one of the 3 contestants for the Eight Peaks to not have his own book (Skarsnik and Queek does have their own, which I recomment BTW).

I think he appears in the novel "Thorgrim" by David Guymer as a side character, and he may have his own e-shorts on the Black Library, though I'm not 100% sure about that.

Does he also appear in the first volume of Gotrik and Felix? They were in Karak Eight Peaks in that one.

I think so. I've not read Gotrek and Felix, but I seem to recall a synopsis mentioning that they asked for his permission before entering the Eight Peaks. But then again, his appearance is very brief.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll give Skaarsnik a try, he's my favourite Greenskin in Mortal Empires. Gotta root for the little guy compared to the giants that are Grimgor and Da Green Prophet.

Just to double check, I read from the Thorgrim synopsis that Belegar has a wife and a kid? Is that true? There's no mention if them anywhere on the wikia or in game.

Yes, exactly. This is the only source mentioning Belegar's close family, but it's still cannon ^^

His wife has quite the strong personality as well :*

The Empire still hasn't gotten their FLC LL. We need Marius Leitdorf of Averland!

Where is Boris Todbringer? Have you seen him? For a Middenland DLC with Boris and the Ar-Ulric!

Every wrong is recorded. Every slight against us, page after page, ETCHED IN BLOOD!

Queek could smell their hatred, ratcheted to a degree that even he could not evoke in their simple hearts. He stepped over the old orange-fur’s body, eager to see for himself what it was they saw. But he heard it first.

    Oh cool. What's her name?
Also how strong is Clan Angrund in that novel? Like do they have Hammerers, Quarrelers, Thunderers and so forth?
In game he starts with Rangers but dunno if that fits with the fluff.

Dunno, I have not read the full novel myself, only a few pages. A friend who read it also told me Belegar was kind of a jerk in that novel, though I cannot confirm or deny that.

If you are looking for some dwarf action, I recommend Queek's novel called "Headtaker". The story is more skaven focused, but the perspective is constantly shifting between the skaven of Clan Mors and the dwarfs of Karak Azul under King Kazador. It's a good read, showing both the complexity of skaven society and the determination and loyalty of the dwarf army.

Skarsnik and Belegar are only briefly mentioned in that novel, but there are still some dwarf warfare in it.

Thanquol's Doom also has a good amount of parts written from Dwarf PoV

I recommend Honourkeeper and Oathbreaker on my end. Good dwarven drama on both fronts.

Yes, he does, but there isn't really that much about him.

Clan Angrund Dawi feature in Queek but rather in a minor role big part of the novel spends in Karak Azul where Belegar gets Rune Weapons for his expedition from. It's well worth the read... especially for Queeks shenanigans!

Her Name is Kemma Ironhamner. She is a strong, proud dwarven lady. She appears in the Thorgrim Novel (which is very good) and in the rise of the horned rat (4th end times novel). While the end times all together is a pile of steaming bullcrap the dawi characters are very well written but the story as a whole was just a sad excuse for games workshop to kill warhammer fantasy. Nevertheless if you want a good insight into the dwarven mindset read those books.
