Hey all,
I will be playing the game and get a black screen for 10-30 seconds at a time. After that the graphics will load back in. The issue was less frequent when it started but is now happening so often that the game is unplayable. This issue only started up a couple of weeks ago. Im running a Geforce GTX 1080ti. Installed the game over steam. Dual monitor setup. Trouble shooting steps I have tried:
- How To Prepare Your PC For Total War: Warhammer II's Launch (SEGA suport)
- Graphic Issues? Graphics Card's Self-Diagnostic (SEGA suport)
- Tried deleting the preferences.script
- Full Uninstall/Reinstall
- Verified the game files
- Running in windowed mode
- Running in DX 11 and 12
- Turning graphics down from Ultra to Med
- Underclocking the GPU
- Video drivers are up to date
- Windows 10 is up to date
DxDiag attached.
Thanks,
Bones

We have been unable to reproduce this issue. Therefore, I would ask for some more details:
- Are you able to reproduce the issue with only one monitor?
- Can you check that your monitor cables are not defective
- Could you please attach your preferences.script
Thank you in advanceCA_Hamish

0 · Disagree AgreeI have noticed that the LED that usually glows under the monitor when it is on actually turns off while the screen is black...
I rolled back my graphics driver using this link
nvidia.co.uk/object/driver_rollback.html
All good now :-)

0 · Disagree Agreethanks for the replies. I did test running under a single monitor setup. I also tried rolling back the drivers and a clean OS reinstall over a formatted drive just to ensure there were no strange software conflicts. None of those solved the issue.
I do a little crypto mining on my card usually and the client started throwing an error message and would not hash. It turns out the error was an indicator of a VRAM issue on the video card. I swapped out video cards in my rig and it appears to have resolved the issue. Looks like I am going to have to RMA my 1080ti with evga.
thanks

0 · Disagree AgreeThat being said, i believe the issue started occuring after i updated the GPU drivers, yesterday. Iwe been playing the game for 3 days, and i dont think i had any problems the first day.
Is this something that the total war crew will fix with a patch or a weakness with the newest nvidia drivers that they will adress in the future?
