User Info RequiredGame crashes when opening family tree

I am late enough through my playthrough and am familiar with the family tree. As I expand and get more estates the loyalty of my generals decreases and I get a notification about it. Usually, I would just select an estate an assign a low loyalty character without a problem. Now, whenever I try to open the family tree manually or use the prompt saying low loyalty the game just crashes. Any tips?
