I don't know what was changed between the night of 8 May and the morning of 9 May but my game will not work now. I try to start the game and it gets to the main menu but anywhere from 3-10 seconds after that the game crashes to my desktop.

I'm thinking whatever got patched to fix everyone else's problems broke ours.

I try to start the game and it gets to the main menu but seconds after that the game crashes to my desktop. These are the only 2 files that I can find/ am able to upload.

So I turned my steam overlay off and the game started working after an uninstall/reinstall. Then turned it on and it works still, so I have no idea what was going on but it works now.
