Could the starting legions of Gallic Rome and Aurelian's Rome have historically accurate names? The only accurate name I found is Legio III Gallica but it was in Syria at the time I believe.
Also could CA make sure Legio II Parthica is the sole legion of Quintillus' Rome? (Roman Pretenders) Even though the Legion was apparently moving around the Empire combatting babarians and probably usurpers at this time, there probably would have been a garrison stationed at the legionary castra in Italy.
I would be happy if the so called Roman Pretenders were added as a playable faction, it would be a interesting campaign. Quintillus is a historical figure who was a very unluck Emperor that probably only controlled parts of the Legio II Parthica and the Praetorian Guard stationed in Rome.
Agreed with the above suggestion about building icons. I could do a quick mod doing that if people wanted - but I would make two alterations: orange actually meaning "Subsistence" rather than just pointing out that building is the main chain, and make purple for "Culture" and yellow for "Commerce".
I have encountered a strange issue in the TWeak toolkit. A kind of fog pervades the visual window. It seems to also omit or somehow block a proper specular/gloss map 'shine' on pieces of armor or helmets.
I've fiddled with the variant_editor_day, reinstalled TWeak and nothing has fixed it thus far. I did not have this issue as of a few days ago, so I believe it's related to the latest visual update beta.

I opted out of the visual beta update and loaded TWeak again and it fixes the issue. I've tried reinstalling my TWeak on the ancestral beta update and it still persists.
There is a bug where it shows the enemy army was sabotaged but the army still shows itself as an reinforcement army.. Pls fix all of this reinforcement stuff and pls implement battlemap edditor
Has anyone noticed that the dilemma concerning a disloyal governor doesn't seem to do anything, or have a result? I've only noticed today that I've never seen anything result from that dilemma. You know the one I'm talking about? The one where you can bribe him to your side, or assassinate him?
Am I just imagining things or has anyone else noticed this?
When I try to download the update it tells me that their is not enough free disk space but there is. I've tried a couple of different fixes but nothing seems to work.
This is infuriating. My heir and oldest natural son branches off to start a new party when his father is 60+? PLEASE fix this. It makes no sense.
The exact same thing happened again! I made a new heir, and right as I was about to crush the revolt, my new heir split off into his own faction. To summarize, both of my faction leader's natural born sons split off and made their own factions after becoming the heir to the faction. I REALLY hope this is not intended.
I wanted to ask about marrying queens of other factions. As it stands, I've successfully made heirs with a "regular" wife using "seek wife" but in 8+ playthroughs, I can't make kids with a foreign queen as my wife. Is that supposed to happen?
Say, if the queen IS supposed to give heirs, would that heir then have some right to his mother's throne?
I've encountered a bug in which blocks of shadows on the campaign map as well as in the backgrounds of character portraits flicker constantly. I narrowed down the trigger to having the Shadows setting on any level above Low while SLI is enabled.
I'm having this same issue too. The battles are fine but the campaign map has a lot of flickering. Shadows on Low fixes the campaign map, but the family tree has flickering. After a battle it's even worse. One instance the portraits were doing an exorcist impression after a battle and I had to restart the game.
After a battle the campaign map lags like crazy. Oddly enough the lag goes away if I move the mouse around. Have SLI GTX 1080's and 2 monitors.

so far in my caesar in gaul campaign with the beta i am experiencing massive performance drops while in the campaign map, worse when in menus. A restart will sometimes fix it but as soon as i come out of a battle it drops again. Perfect performance while in battles.
I have also noticed during two defense battles of Narbo Martius that a quarter of the army just sat and waited outside the settlement. they didn't move until i moved my forces closer to them.
In two separate Empire Divided campaigns (Palmyra and Auralian's Rome) I played using the beta, a general receives the "Triumph" animation and message over and over and over again. The same character. Neither of them were in the capital city when it first occurred either if that matters.
The Triumph cutscene for Empire Divided is also outdated for the time period. Showing either Republican or early Empire Roman Legionaries. Also the General in the triumph should probably have a different outfit.

@CA_dionisiev or any CA Team member : This is the second time I post this, I hate to do that but since I did not get any answer I post it a second time, In the hope that you will fix this issue before release or in a future Hotfix...
There is something that has always been here since the release of the game, I dont know if its a feature or a bug, but to me its more a bug because its annoying and unpredictable
Its related to reinforcement : (I played with a few armies to prove my point).
So basically you have the choice which reinforcing army is coming first (with the right and left arrow), but this function never worked, it randomly throw units at you untill you get your maximum unit limit. For me its 20 units because I untick large armies
Let me show you :
That is my main army (consisting of 15 men)
First reinforcing army (this one has been chosen to reinforce first)
Second reinforcing army
But at the end its what I get (tagged as group 2 an 3)
The game basically gave me THE ARMY I DO NOT WANTED, it just throw units to fill my ranks untill I have 20 units, this feature is broken, because it makes your future army unpredictable. It remove the strategy part of the game ... Its here since the beginning I really really hope you will do something about this issue in the future

Oh ok thanks for the answer thou, been a huge fan and loved your games since the rome 1 and still having fun in rome 2 even after 1700 hours of gameplay
Why dont you implement these epic pre-battle speeches like they were in rome 1? The battles in that game were so awesome just becouse of that and they just gave you the goosebumps and hyped you to fight your enemy and thus everybody loved that mechanic. Its a shame it wasnt implemented on lounch of rome 2.
But hell there sure were the best voice actors in the past.
