[SPC][Campaign] Fleets led by generic King and Queen

dge1dge1 Registered Users, Moderators, Knights Posts: 24,192
Build: 19340.0 Ancestor
Faction: Rome/Julii
Difficulty H/H

Two Screens and two save games. Identified one fleet led by "King". Two turns later another led by "Queen". I've never had this occur in any of the campaigns in the Rome II game, and I've played quite a few.

Hmm, I have seen faction leaders commanding fleets before.

I don't think it is a bug, unless I am missing something here.

Hey there, @dge1 , do I understand correctly - the issue is that their names are not displayed beneath their portrait?

Actually it was the King/Queen titles. I've not encountered this particular name set before and was not sure if it was a new place holder name set or just a faction leader in the new set up. Usually there is more details, or some kind of name with some details on who they are and what they are.

These titles have been used for awhile. At least since the Power and Politics update, where it was assigned to the faction leaders of generic Barbarian factions.

The text of what you've selected displayed on the bottom left, above the porthole, is the agent title (e.g. General, Faction Leader (King, Emperor - differs on government type / culture), Admiral, Spy, Dignitary etc). If you want to know the commander's actual names, just hover your mouse over the army / fleet / agent and a tooltip will display it (e.g. in your first image, the name is "Antis". In your second image, the name is "Andena").

Currently working on a whole lot more, stay tuned.

Thanks all. Saw all that, and knew about the details available. Still want to highlight the point I said which was that I've never seen this before in any previous campaign, and I've played quite a few. Not a game stopper.
