The politics system and family tree looks great. I do have a couple suggestions. One is to have the game end when all family members die. This will really make players care more about their generals and family members and take care to ensure the lineage is taken care of either through birth or adoption.
Secondly, I would suggest adding some variance to the character portraits. Right now, they all look relatively the same and this makes it difficult to really care about the characters. In Rome 1, characters aged, had different skin tones, some had helmets, others did not. Making characters more recognizable would be a great addition.
Keep up the good work!

Whether or not we add more depends on the amount of critical issues we have to fix. As for the unique leader models, that would be just too time consuming at this point. Keep in mind that it wouls need to be done for the majority of the playable factions across all campaigns.

as for future updates, please make them a reality, Rome 2 is becoming a great game and I personally think DLCs will sell well
