Warhammer 2 freezing, stuttering and crashing.

I've got about 500 hours in the game and all of a sudden I'm getting these problems. First of all after I make my first turn the game instantly becomes choppy, with lagging inputs and stuttering graphics. Everything freezes completely for a few seconds and then kicks back into action. I was able to play for about an hour before I entered combat. At the loading screen after winning the battle the game freezes completely and if i make any inputs it crashes to desktop. This happens every single time i play.

to reproduce: simply play a turn and win a battle.

Attempted solutions: clean reinstall of graphic drivers, verified integrity of game cache (twice), deleted replays

I'm really hoping to get this fixed before the new DLC drops. I have a ton of hours in this game and I hope to put in a lot more.

What version of Windows are you running with what update, I've been having these issues absolutely identical to what you describe, rolled back my update and they went away again.

windows 10 64-bit (10.0 Build 17134).

Sorry I should have been more specific what feature update, I've had a lot of crashes with 1803.

So I did some further testing and all of this only seems to apply to Mortal Empires. Eye of the Vortex runs perfectly. Only problem is all that DLC i have unable to use.

I know that this problem is from 2 years ago but did anyone manage to repair it somehow? Very similiar problem here

just started getting this happen in new vortex campaign had just finished mortal empires campaign no dramas have tried turning setting down no help did anyone find solutions ?
