How will a gtx 1080 run divide et impera?

Hi guys! I'm thinking of buying a gtx 1080 soon so I was wondering how a gtx 1080 would handle divide et impera @1080p all ultra? Also how would it handle 1212ad? Thanks in advance!

Hi, it would handle it no problem on ultra @1080p. I have a 1070, runs it very well. What CPU do you have as I found that can make a big difference too.

Thanks! My current cpu is a ryzen 5 1600 I might also upgrade it to a i7 7700k or i7 8700k. But I won't upgrade my cpu if it runs well enough.

I had a 1500x, had very poor performance with total war. Just upgraded to an 8600k, it runs so well now. 8600k gets you about the same performance in games as 8700k for a fair bit cheaper.
