eh, you could argue that it really has nothing to do with Total War: Warhammer. Warcraft will never be a DLC for Total War: Warhammer, it's like opening a thread on Three Kingdoms and asking for a WWII or Star Trek DLC for it.

Opening such a thread just makes no sense and, imho, also seems to be more aimed towards being flame-bait than anything else.

I'd suggest to at least move this thread to off-topic

Warcraft is already one of the best RTS-series in existence. Making a TW spinoff would be kinda redundant.

Oh yes , warcraft, along with the scion of light and darkness Illidian, the bitch queen Sylvanas, and the slaughter of NE Saulfang. So many amusing stories nearly make me laugh

Hell nah the golden compass trilogy had just as much potential as LoTR (ok maybe not a hundred percent) they just messed up when they made the first movie. The books are dope.

Also the trilogy is anti-religious so the church argued against the second movie. Thats why it never came out.

Well, more so that it was a giant flop. The budget was 180 million and it made 372 by the end of its run in the box office. Now this might look like it made it's money, except several problems. They spent a lot on advertising that narrowed this run a lot more.

And this was in the age when movies were still expected to make or break in the US market alone. And in the US it was barely anything at all. The sum total of the world was the only thing that made it that high and that old school thinking gave the studio a lot of pause. Today they will still do a move if they think China or Europe alone will carry it.

It also got a shellacking on the reviews. Critics were not fans of it, but nor were audiences. It had low reviews and scores across the board. And even in the kids area they often cited being bored till the armored bears showed up. Not a good sign when they enjoy it for one sole area of the movie. This is of course the other issue. The younger kids found it to slow, leaving it for tweens and teens, and teens were not jazzed about it. Leaving it for more narrow tweens which really narrowed its overall appeal.

If you look at the movie list of New Line Cinema they really could give a flip darn what the church says and have made plenty of controversial movies. And if the movie had been good enough for them they'd have pushed out another.

But it succeeded only because of a world market, with terrible reviews, and poor audience reception. That would make anyone balk before putting down another 180+ million for even another movie. Let alone the rest of the series.

Little bit off-topic, don't you think?
Then again, this whole thread is a really dumb non-sequitur.
