fresh download from steam: crash at first turn campaign entering into first real time battle

Chosen east anglia of the great viking army, started to browse around on the new map (always played with Attila, needed to check the new console), tried to resolve the first battle against the rebels with a real time battle and the game crashes to desktop while loading (half bar loaded).

Tried several times even lowering my video settings. No better results.

I tried to launch a preview of the battle map: it crashes to desktop while loading

Almost frustrating considering that my hardware is superior even to recommended system requirements.

I don't have any save game files cause it was just the first turn.

Really?!? In one week nobody answered?!? what a kind of support is that?!? I always bought your products and since Rome II there was lots of bugs and ctd...this is not the good way to make things.

I am experiencing the same problem you are if you ever find out what it is please help me too becouse otherwise i think i'm going to refund the game

If you have a similar set-up to @Thorkell it's because you are trying to run a 64bit game on a 32bit operating system. Best to refund in that case.
