TEd Compatibility?

Hi there,
I have started using this amazing tool to create some maps for Attilla: Total War and is really impressive the easy way that TEd allows you to create maps and pack it to play it just in a couple of minutes.
So my question is,
Is it possible to create maps with TEd for other TOTAL WAR eras like EMPIRE: TOTAL WAR or NAPOLEON: TOTAL WAR or is just very difficult to modify the database of BOB program to be compatible with other TOTAL WAR editions.
