I think the Lizardmen are getting unique faction recolors as part of the FLC.

In this picture the Cult of Sotek has uniquely colored units instead of the normal blue with faction markings the other Lizardmen factions use. I think Mazdamundi's saurus and skinks will be mostly orange. Instead of how the Lizardmen are currently mostly blue with faction color based warpaint. For Kroq-Gar mostly blue and so on. To be clear these are NOT RoRs in the picture. There are no RoR Kroxigors and in the backround there are more saurus and in the foreground more skinks all mostly green and yellow instead of blue.

I noticed this too, would be great if the lizardmen were made more colourful in general. The green skinks won't be for Tehenhauin's faction though, my guess is those are the colours of the FLC lord.

Exactly. Would love variation in every generated army. That's prob a fantasy but it would help variety and immersion

I took the liberty of circling the uniquely colored Kroxigors, Skinks and Suarus. I also painted arrows towards a second Kroxigor unit and even a unit of mounted saurus calvary. All of which are uniquely colored.

Sorry I'm not being clear. What i mean is the screenshot is from the steam page, BUT CA isn't showing the Cult of Sotek in an actual battle (thereby revealing the recolor). They are just using Mazdamundi's faction when playing as lizardmen.

Ahhh I understand. But they’re using the new units? I can’t imagine there would be a great secret to the recolour. This image is still likely to be Ten’s faction since he’s right there and center.

That's what I mean. It is Ten's faction. But CA haven't OFFICAILLY said anything about a recolor. Presumably they are also recoloring the other lizardmen but the new color hasn't been implemented yet in the build of the game we are seeing for the OTHER lizardmen factions. By not using the Cult of Sotek faction they are keeping the impending recolor under wraps.

welp. Now they are playing Cult of Sotek. I think it was mostly the players who decided to go with the "standard" factions, to let the opponent more in the guess what (Legendary) Lord they'd take. (or out of habbit)
