Friends Possibly Able to Cancel Unit Recruitment for other's faction.

In my Multiplayer game a friend and I chose the Two bandit warlords. Somewhere down the line He went to recruit a catapult on his turn and I was able to cancel the unit before his turn was up. This removed it from his retinue. I was Zheng Yan. Friend was bandit queen. I was hosting. it was his turn. We had signed the shared mandate of heaven.
