That's way too much for a list of important people as more than half of them are minor characters, not to mention that Cao Cao, Gan Ning, Guan Yu and some others are already a unique and Cao Hong doesn't even exist in the game.

I’d like to see more unique character art too but this list is overkill. I don’t think you realise how much work it takes to create unique art for each of these characters.

Exactly, he doesn't even prioritize the characters from their role in the novels/records and his list includes characters who already exist in the game with their unique models like Cao Cao, this post seems to be written from someone who has never even bothered playing the game. Asking for models of Liu Bei when one already exists proves a lack of knowledge.

a few of those characters are already unique. Zhao Yun, Zhuge Liang, Yuan Shu, Zhang Fei, Yuan Shao, Xiahou Dun, Taishi Ci, Sun Ren, Sun Ce, Sun Jian, Sun Quan, Sima Yi, Ma Chao are already unique in the game and there are more i spotted on this list already unique in game but i figured this is enough to make the point of many of who you listed are already unique.

i don't know if that takes a lot of work
but what about a system that randomizes the minor characters like other games skyrim or mount and blade
it helps when you have a large amount of characters at the end of the game

Dynasty Warrior's list for definite as many of the real major characters are missing. Sun Ren for instance was only with Liu Bei whilst he was in one city and left him when he left that city. Lady Mi would be a better character to add to characters and make unique as she was died whilst protecting Liu Shan. Lady Gan should also be added as a playable character as she was mother of Liu Shan. Though that would mean introducing concubines to the game. Sun Ren was way down on the list of wives and ladies of Liu Bei and the only record of Sun Ren was her marriage and time with Liu Bei.

Ma Su, Ma Liang, Chen Dao (about half of Zhao Yun's stories are believed to have actually been Chen Dao's exploits.), list could keep going on but as there were over 300 characters in ROTK would be an extremely long list
