Changing unit combat animations?

I'm making a mod where I replace the brettonian shieldless men-at-arms swordsmen's swords with zombie cleavers.

I have already managed to change their weapons, however I also want them to use two handed animations that for example the brettonian squires use. I tried to modify the land_units_tables (no, I'm not modding the original data pack, I made a separate one) but that doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone please tell me what determines what kind of combat animations the unit uses?
