My game has no launcher

I recently posted a problem that might be able to be solved if I can fix this problem first. When I go to play the game from Steam, it goes directly to the game. The problem here is that there isn't that launcher where you can go to "Advanced Options", etc. Does anyone know why this launcher is not appearing for me, and how can I fix it? I am playing on mac. Any help appreciated. Thank you
