Crash on start up

My friend purchased Total War Warhammer (the first one) and he has never been able to play, since it crashes right around the time the introduction video starts, every time he runs it despite having the minimum technical requirements.

He doesn't use any mods. He has tried deleting the Warhammer folder in the AppData folder with no avail. He's tried changing the language to English and checked the integrity of the game, and it didn't work either.

It's possible that his graphics chip does not meet the minimum requirement and the driver is certainly very old.
