Before you release the new update CA Could you lower the cost of the standard Dread Saurian and ROR?

As the title states, 3200 gold for a standard Dread Saurian (compared to the 2400 feral variety) and 4000 for the ROR is just a tad much for what you are getting in return.

Would you consider lowering the cost of the standard Dread Saurian to 3000, and the ROR to 3600? It would make them a lot more viable in MP.

    Lets see how they perform in action, I don't want a repetition of the ancient sally.

    Well they could do with what they did with the ancient sally, and see if she needs nerfs afterwards right?

    Speaking of which, I found the new Sally to be "okay". I do miss the slow, but she still has her damage so I guess she is okay now. Though I'd love to have some of her old Hp back. Not much, but some would be great.

    Not really. Even with that high price, it is a sitting duck for ranged fire. Honestly they feel a little underwhelming.

    I'd rather they come at things from the other direction: start new units conservatively priced, and then lower the price incrementally if it seems justified.

    A new unit that comes out too strong starts appearing in every army, and will dominate the meta and make the game duller to play for a whole patch (which as we've seen can be on the order of 6 months). A new unit that comes out too weak just doesn't get used very much; the balance of all the other units in the game and the pre-existing variety of builds isn't damaged. Under the assumption that either state is temporary, too weak IMO is preferable to too strong.

    100% agree here, i rather UP unit than OP unit at release as it doesn't break things, hopefully this cost is balanced, so far i think the feral version is OP the non feral seems slightly too pricy, lets see how it goes.

    Agreed. I think this was the case with sisters of Avelorn as well.

    I recently made a few posts about the new Lizardmen units, and added a number of ideas which I felt would make them more viable for competitive play. However, someone pointed out that a much easier way to balance them would be with price cost changes.

    For example, the Feral Dread Saurian is okay I think. It eats missiles and it rampages after all. It could (like all Dread Saurian units) have some more Missile Resistance though. Maybe 25% instead of 15%? Here are some price suggestions:

    Dread Saurian: 3200 ----> 3000
    Dread Saurian ROR: 4000 ----> 3700
    Ripperdactyl Riders: 1200 ----> 1100
    Ripperdactyl Riders ROR: 1500 ----> 1400
    Ark of Sotek: 1050 ----> 950
    Ancient Salamander: 1250 ----> 1200

    The Dread Saurians, even with the suggested bonus Missile Resistance, would be far too expensive for competitive play, and so far they have been rather underwhelming. I know that we should wait for the new patch, but most of the suggested units have been out for a while and are point-wise very inefficient.

    This should not shift the meta for the Lizardmen, but will instead will encourage players to try the less appreciated units as well. Allowing for more fun and diversity in play styles. And afterwards they can always nerf them again, like they did to poor Sally.

    Total support!
    It is a unique monster, do not make him cheap garbage. Make him competitive. At least somewhat "medium value" for the price. Right now, in early access, he is lacking +4 attack and +4 defense at least.

    Dread Saurian: 3200 ----> 3000
    Dread Saurian ROR: 4000 ----> 3700

    And dread saurian R.O.R. - is 3800 gold already. His price is fine. He needs more stats (attack/defense).

    it could use a nerf not a buff.

    Feral one needs +300g

    Other two hmm maybe are fine but still on the too strong side.
