Old Friends Theory

What if the old friends weren't characters that were from the lore but instead two half lords that were only in the game? These half lords are Boris Todbringer of Middenheim and Sarthorael The Everwatcher of Chaos. These two would make sense as they fit the description seeing as how they are from Warhammer 1 and we already know who they are so Old Friends would fit. Besides, it's about time they were made full fledged Legendary Lords.

One of the more popular theories holds that the Old Friends would be Boris and/or the Red Duke elevated to proper playable status in the campaign.

I kind of doubt it. That seems like way more work than the hints and the previous friend would suggest.

The other big theory is that it will be Gotrek and Felix, probably as legendary heroes recruitable by the Empire.

My personal theory is that it's Bryan and Jerry, who I knew back in 7th grade.

No offense but the only thing i would like to see are some official informations so i dont have to read post Nr 1000 about old friends with the same "theories" over and over again. Kurt, Ludwig, Boris, Red Duke, Halflings, Sarthorael, Neferata (for some reason) and 100 other Characters...we had already theories about them ALL....just stop and wait. we will get informations this week

check the previous pages. we already have so goddamn many theories, spuculations and wishthinking about old friends. many ppl want to see Boris, Gotrek and Felix, Leitdorf, Ludwig and Kurt, Halflings (still dont get how they are "old friends") and even Neferata.

i would like to see this guys in that order

1. Ludwig Schwarzhelm and Kurt Helborg or
2. Boris Todbringer and Marius Leitdorf or
3. Gotrek and Felix (just because there is already a solid mod and i would rather have some other important empire characters)

and yes Grace said we will get informations this week so either tomorrow or saturday

Why not add on Surtha Ek and Red Duke to the list of half-made LLs? I wouldn't put Sarthorael there.

At that point, the Red Duke would be in as well.

at this point Surtha became a meme like the Ghorgon. the thing is is he actually a character in the lore? i know there is a Kurgan with the name Surtha Lenk but i couldnt find anything about this particular guy

I doubt they'd be for just the Empire. Especially given the Empire has a character who would suit for LH with Ludwig.
