Trolling with names for Lizardmen?

Hi bois,

Just here to lighten up your day.

I'm from the Netherlands, meaning Dutch is my mother tongue.
By now I have become quite convinced that a Dutch employee at CA is having some fun with the lizardmen character naming. Since they're all supposed to be Inca-based, I suppose you can get a little... creative.

Some examples to show you what I mean:

Geef'eten: Dutch for 'give me food'.
Friqan'del: Seems pretty much like frikandel, the most popular snack at snackbars in the Netherlands.
Klo'aca: Cloaca. You can figure that one out for yourselves, I hope ;)

I've actually seen many more of these pass by. Good stuff ^^

They propably are, but it's a long tradition for games workshop characters. Consider that the most powerful and revered lizardman of all time is a frog named Kroak.

    A dead frog, no less.

It is funny indeed. I think people thought Dutch sounds a lot like the ancient Aztecs or something... XD

To add a few (because I think its funny):
    - Potte'qe Vet (literaly a jar of fat)
    - Strapt-op-staart (someone standing on a tail)
    - Jokke'broq (someone who made a habit out of lying)
    - Cho'qomel (chocolate milk) etc.
Races I'd like to see, in order of preference: Chaos Dwarfs, Southern Realm/ DoW, Araby, Nippon, Hobgoblin Kharnate, Kuresh, Ind.

Yeah, it's been known since the launch of WH2 in 2017 that the Skink characters have very punny names in Dutch. Generally assumed to be due to a Dutch employee or something like that.

The punniness is building on a tradition of GW, as shows above (tic tac toe, croak, etc.), even Tehenhauin used to be pronounced and spelt more like "teeny-weeny".

Croak is also British slang for dying.
