Green Knight still doing nothing but eating your funds(and other problems of melee cav lords/heroes)

CA, his trouble is getting to his target through enemy infantries and allies models. Often you see him stuck with your own ally cavs around the target doing nothing. Stuck against chaffs or summons.

not get stunned in combat against monsters. Even in combat, he doesnt get a lot of attacks.

Green knight needs - immune to vigor. Being the first grail knight that could fight for week ends...
Swiftness of itzl to get out of chaffs and run faster towards target.
Decrease stun chance.
And even with these i doubt he will be very useful, so dont even worry about it being broken.

horse mount melee lords really suffer from this too
the best horse melee lord is tyrion which at least he has a chaff clearer to help himself and he is ONLY semi competitive
they are not good against foot lords/heroes since they get bounced around and couldnt surround it like cav units.
Bad against monsters cause they get stuck by allies/enemy units and get stunned.
Which makes their only good targets are other horse mount targets...

I honestly dont know how should that be fixed. Melee lords/heroes are generally meh compare to caster/hybrid/monsters

Yep totally agree, pretty much what sbeen said over and over again. Verminous valor/swift itzl related would be extremely useful but imo he really just need a role. Given the somewhat problematic monster issue bret have it would be nice for him to be the savior of all this with anti large, he is afterall just $100 to shag price at $1900 base and u never really leave him without dolorous anyway so hes always playing over $2100 ish and no where frikking near anything the price tag offers. Being a hero slot also costs a bret an opportunity for another paladin. This guy is really hard to balance

    - Immune to vig this is a 1000% compulsory for the greatest grail.
    - Vermin valor? anti large? -$100?
    - His hp is a bit on the low side as well, maybe +200

Not sure what else this guy needs he wouldnt be that far off optimal, prolly just $200 worth of being perfect

Iirc he wasn't bad in some matchups but was overall super overpriced. He does actually do alright in combat if he can get on the right target tho.

While Green Knight needs help, equating that with all horse mounted combat lords/heroes needing help is imo a huge mistake. Even if we discount pure buff bots like the arch lector, characters like Franz, Boris, Tomb Prince, Oldblood/RC/scar vet on cold/horned one back(which is basically a horse equivalent), HE noble or Wulfrik are all brought fairly often and have alternate, beefier mount options. So lets not conflate the two issues. Generally horse mounts are better for factions that have strong ranged pressure since they force your opponent to come to you and expose vulnerable mobile units to them, outside the safety of their infantry. They also nearly all have AP baked in, so their value tends to be as a mobile, budget AP option in most cases.

Give him more mass so he's not bogged down in chaff on the time. There was a post about making ethereal units "phase" through enemy units, which the Green Knight can benefit tremendously, but that is a little too strong. Maybe make ethereal units move through enemy formation as if they are friendly units instead?

Honestly a Swiftness of Itzl/Verminous Valour type ability for the Green Knight would be really awesome, it'd give him a lot more utility by being able to push through infantry to get to a target or escape, and not get so bogged down. Honestly, it'd be a good thing to give to some other heroes too, like the banshee or the Dwarf ethereal heroes to add some mobility/slipperiness.
