CA could have given her her shield. Excluding it is a mystery. The lance and banner removal is more understandable considering CA's unspoken "No Banners" policy...

She has her banner as an item, but isn't wielding it. Something that really bothers me, otherwise I like her look and armor.
Nice model for a FLC lord but ... the banner is missing and that's important lore and could be nice for the future. For example if we ever see Ludwig Schwarzhelm is "The Emperor's Standard" just some stat like they did here?

Please CA give her the Alberik treatment and rework the character a bit (just add the banner!!!).
Thinking about it, they could have given her the lance+shield in her offhand when she's mounted. Nothing to stop them from changing her equipment when mounted. The problem banner could have been rolled and tied to the lance if animating it is too much work or rolled up and strapped behind her sadle... CA just took the lazy way out.

Ghal Maraz: +16 AL, +50% AP
Repanse Base WD: 440 unknown breakdown yet, but seemingly quite a bit AP since she has the AP sign.
KF base WD: 470 with 130 AP
mhm... some Bretonnian sword is more potent than Ghal **** Maraz.
Those numbers are wrong. KF does most of his dmg as ap.
It needs to be pointed out that what people call "cheese" is just playing the game the way it actually exists not in some fictional way they think it is supposed to work.

Im glad she isnt overly sexualised. Warhammer has a real lack of decent female characters that aren't just sex objects.
You guys keep using these words like '' sexually objectified '' or '' sex object ''... But I don't think that you actually know what they mean. A woman showing skin doesn't make her sexually objectified, sexual objectification is what the words actually imply. Reducing someone to their sex organs and denying them any sort of '' humanity '' or personhood outside of their sexual appeal or sexual organs. I can't think of a single character or unit in the game or tabletop where this actually applies. Possibly Slaneeshi units, but that's more the Slaneeshi units sexually objectifying other people in lore. The whole theory of sexual objectification was mainly about how in commercials for example they'd market perfume or shaving materials and just have a womans cleavage in the picture and then the shaving cream. The reason why it's objectifying is because it's not even acknowledging the woman as a person, it's just a zoomed in picture on her breasts to sell a product that has nothing to do with that...
Morathi or the Witch Elves for example having revealing '' clothes '' doesn't make them '' sex objects ''... I am getting very tired of what is lets be real here probably mainly men talking about this when they clearly don't understand it and are just revealing their own misogynistic views...
It's especially tiresome as someone who loves these characters and Witch Elves are my favorite models and characters in Warhammer. And it's also very tiresome because people don't do this with male characters, men can run around in loincloths and they're not seen as '' sex objects ''. But even the freaking Daemonettes will be labelled '' oversexualized '', or even just mild cleavage... Women showing skin ( even if they're conventionally attractive ) ≠ sex object or sexually objectified. Please stop with that...
It's also quite annoying because it infects every discussion about female characters. Like I looked at the first page of this thread because I was excited about Repanse and really loved her model, and someone was all like '' soon people will complain she ain't sexy enough ''. Come the hell on...
It'd just be nice if we could get a female character without this kind of crap, and also without people **** on women and female characters who aren't '' modest enough ''. Like can you guys seriously just grow up and not do this? People constantly talk about being more including towards women and not alienating us, but this **** is so alienating in and of itself. Guys sitting around slut shaming women and talking about how women are sex objects because they show belly or cleavage is creepy and just wrong.
Rant I guess, but I am just tired of it. I was excited about Repanse and was honestly thinking twice about even reading the forums about her, because this **** upsets me and I knew that it was going to happen but I was hoping to be wrong. It's why I avoid comics forums too because it's a complete hellhole of this stuff. You guys don't need to go on about this kind of stuff every time that a female character is added into the game. People are even complaining about it with the damn Medusa now too, it takes the joy out of everything.
I just think that it's ironic that people complain about characters supposedly being '' sex objects '' when in reality you're the one sexually objectifying them... And it's really getting on my nerves.
Edit: Uh maybe this won't go down well, but I take these things very seriously because it personally affects me. It just really worries me that people have these backwards views without even realizing it. Especially since a lot of the time people do it because they think that they're being good guys for doing it. You're not, please stop.
I think that most people can agree that she should have her banner. It's a bit silly I guess to fight with, but she's also not wearing gauntlets or a helmet and it's Warhammer lol.
